I don't even understand why this website was created. What is the point? Don't you have something better to do than crash people's dreams? Your website annoys me. It is the epitome of the "sour grapes" approach to life...spoiling the true contest. You claim that the best voices are left out...that the weird ones are chosen...and occasionally that does happen (Crazy Dave last season). But the truth is that all three judges and the producers are the ones in show business and they do know what they are looking at and for. Kerry Underwood is no fluke. Christ Daughtry's popularity speaks for itself. If it were not for your show, he may well have won. The bottom line is...The producers have every right to choose whomever they want...it is their choice, their show...they pay for it. You sound like a spoil-sport who was rejected. Star quality in this century demands the right look, weight, personality, and as Simon often states... likability and a powerful voice. I have known artists who had it all, but they were not likeable...and thus...they failed to generate an audience. Please stop spoiling the fun of this show...Get over your bitterness and tune out rather than ruining the results for some truly quality singers. I know a bit about music as I have been married to a music teacher for 35 years and am mother of a former country artist sound techie who toured with Dierks Bentley, Sara Evans, Mark Wills, Yellow Card, and Little Big Town.) Her songs are hits, ... i dont need to go on bout her success, its plain to see... she's everywhere and in high demand, she has broken attendance records when headlining her own shows.. lol.. all i can say is,,get a fuckin clue.. lol...
