We let you know two months ago that former VFTW pick Mikalah Gordon is up for spins at Idolwaves.com. Well, we've gotten her to number 19 on the charts. Nice work, everyone! But of course, it would be an even bigger VFTW victory to get her to #1. Mikalah Gordon, one of our favorite past VFTW picks, has released a new single called "Baby". Mikalah's mom, Victoria, who is an awesome woman, let us know that it's up for spins on Idolwaves.com, an internet radio station that plays American Idol contestants' music. So let's help Mikalah get some spins on the station by requesting the song as much as we can. Just head over to the requests section of the IdolWaves message board and make a new post asking them to play "Baby". And request it a lot, because it doesn't require registration, so you can request from as many people as you can think of. As American Idol 4 started up, VFTW realized we were in for some big fun. In the semi-final rounds, we picked Constantine Maroulis and Janay Castine as our VFTW candidates. Constantine was the worst kind of faux rocker, he was less convincing as a rocker than even Ryan Seacrest would be. Janay was nicknamed Janaybot by VFTW for her robotic arm movements. They both offered up some truly awful moments, especially when Janay decided to tackle "Hit Em Up Style". Janay advanced for 3 weeks before being sent packing, all the while Idol fans wondered how the hell she stayed in so long. Constantine sucked his way into the finals.
