Spare us the sermon. There's no confusion. We want Danny to win. His douchey behavior tonight only solidifies that this guy needs to be unleashed on the record buying public for a hilarious fail. Keep on voting, Faith Builders International Ministries!
Were we prescient or what? We said Danny Gokey was the worst contestant left on the show, and Danny helped us prove that by delivering his worst performance ever with "Dream On." So reward his horrible off key scream by dialing 1-866-436-5704 or 1-866-436-5708 as much as you possibly can tonight. Scream On! Anyone who came to this site who said Danny Gokey was not the worst, eat those words, bitches. Gokey's here to piss on the competition and we love it. Watching anyone else go home after Danny delivered the worst performance so far in the finals would be a sweet treat.
We're sure most of you are looking at your computer screens saying, "Huh? Gokey?" But everyone has to admit that Danny Gokey is the least talented person left on the show and the perfect pick to make people angry. He's the worst singer, he's the worst dancer, he's the most annoying, he adds nothing creative to any performance he does, he's the one the tweens seem to hate the most, he has no sense of humor, the only reason he made it this far is because he used his dead wife sob story, and he's the least marketable. A Danny Gokey album would be like a less likeable Taylor Hicks releasing a new record: a complete disaster. The other 3 actually have a chance at legitimate careers. Also, the overly obsessive Idol fans this year want Adam to win. We think some suicide pacts were made when he hit the bottom 2 last week. So we'd like to see Gokey beat Adam and piss off the Idol fans even more. So it's no jokey, vote for Karaoke Gokey. It's a win-win for us this week no matter what happens. If Danny stays and kicks out someone the tweens and frauen like better, it'll be hilarious. If Danny goes home, we won't care one bit because we hate him. At this point it'd be very funny to force Idol to crown Danny as the victor. They'd be stuck with him for at least one album of pure train wreck goodness. But now, we can't lose. VFTW Victory! Danny surely has urned this honor for using a personal tragedy to try to jumpstart a singing career.
Nominated for a Wisconsin area Gospel award, Danny Gokey couldn't even win that. Some other guy won. Maybe Danny forgot to tell them that he deserves to win because his wife died.
Danny Gokey has been making a stupid heart at the end of his last 2 performances. Originally, we thought it might be due to his charity, Sophia's Heart, which of course is just him using his dead wife for more votes. But it was also brought to our attention that the new Lenscrafters commercial (above) has people doing the same thing. Since Douchey loves his douche glasses, could he be doing this as some sort of under the table promotion from Lenscrafters? So either he's whoring his wife for more votes or he's whoring out a company behind Idol's back. Either way... he's a douche. What do you think?
This is Danny Gokey's studio recording of "September" for last week's disco theme. At about 2 minutes and 24 seconds in, he starts up his own little mini-sermon about how life gets hard but he's gone through tough times and made it through. Stop using your dead wife for votes, you douchebag. "September" isn't even about that at all. At least Douchey will get a wakeup call when he fails as a recording artist after the show is over.
Von Smith makes babies cry, but Danny Gokey apparently makes babies stop crying and stare at the TV. The baby is probably staring at the screen thinking, "If this douche can get a recording contract, there is no hope for my generation." Thanks to Decider Milwaukee for the clip.
Thanks to MJ's Big Blog for noticing this. iTunes specifically does not release popularity statistics about the current Idol contestants' downloads, as not to inadvertently spoil who is more popular than the others. Well, they messed up and released the data... again. Adam Lambert is very far in the lead, with 7 of the 10 most popular songs sold. Kris Allen isnt' far behind, followed by Danny Gokey. Matt Giraud is selling the least. Since Idol is all about the money, look for Adam to win or at least be signed to 19E and come in second. Rickey.org posted a blog from Rachel Lampa, apparently some famous Christian singer, where she talked about being contacted by Danny Gokey. In her blog, Rachel says:
"Anyhoozer, so I get a call that a fan of mine wants to meet me and would love to spend some time together… later in the call I find out that its my fav American Idol contestant, Danny Gokey! I am an unashamed Idol watcher so it was cool to spend some time with him."
Besides the fact that Rachel is obnoxious enough to use the word "anyhoozer", Danny contacts some attractive girl and spends time with her not even a year after his wife died? It doesn't mean that the two were on a date, but Danny seems like the type of skeez that would do such a thing. By the way, how is Danny finding time to call up women and get "bored" enough to teach himself guitar? Don't the Idols have strenuous schedules they have to follow? Or is Danny exempt from that since the producers love him so much?
