Chris Sligh's "Hi Dave" was edited out of the British airing of the top 11 episode

Although we don't need more proof that Chris Sligh was giving us a shoutout on Tuesday, many idiot tweentards still think he was talking to someone else. When the episode aired in England, the "Hi, Dave" was edited out of the show. Of course, this must be because British people hate David Hasselhoff, right?

We still love you, Chris!

How To Vote for Sanjaya Tonight 1-866-IDOLS-08

Sanjaya's number tonight is 1-866-IDOLS-08 (1-866-436-5708). Dial it as much as you can between 10 PM and midnight (9 PM and 11 PM central), or if you have Cingular Wireless, you can also text the word "VOTE" to 5708. If you get busy signals, keep dialing. Vote for the full 2 hours for the highest impact. Sanjaya NEEDS our help and this is the big week so vote as much as you can. So, welcome to all of the new people voting for the worst this week, welcome all Howard Stern listeners, and welcome to everyone else too! Let's do this thing and try to get Sanjaya on the tour because THAT WAS THE BEST DAMN VFTW PERFORMANCE IN THE HISTORY OF THE SHOW. We can't stop laughing. AND Chris Sligh just gave Dave a shoutout. Chris, we love you too! This is the best episode of Idol EVER.

Vote for Sundance right now!

Those of you who want to know Sundance's number- here it is.
1-866-IDOLS-03
Or Cingular customers can text "vote" to 5703.

Though we have to admit, we LOVED Chris Sligh's comment to Simon. But he sang too well. So it's gotta be ManBearPig. So awful, so let's help keep him in!

Spoiler: The Top 24

Over 80 Million People!

A new radio ad brags that American Idol was watched by over 80 million people last week. Too bad it was probably the same people watching both nights, so it's more like 40 million a night... meaning the same 40 million overall. Oh Idol, when will you ever stop making up stuff? As if 40 million isn't impressive enough. It's like when they open up more phone lines and then brag they had more votes than ever before... because they opened up more phone lines...

December 11, 2006

We've got about a month before the madness starts again, and the rumors are rolling in about who made it to the top 40 this year. There are two people you may be shocked to see again from last year's show. The first is Gina Glocksen, the dental assistant who rocks out at night in the band Catfight. Also returning and rumored to make it far is Brokenote cowboy Matthew Buckstein. There are also 2 other people that we've found so far that really have us excited at the possibility that they may be the next great VFTW pick:
