Hollywood Week is Moving to January This Year

MJ's Big Blog posted a quote from an article where Idol producer Cecile Frot-Coutaz says that Hollywood week has moved this year.

In past years that week has taken place in November, but this year it has been moved to January, Ms. Frot-Coutaz said, and Ms. DeGeneres “should be there” if logistical arrangements allow.

Clearly Idol is getting tired of sites like ours spoiling their show when Hollywood week normally happens in November, so they're trying to nip it in the bud by moving it. But don't worry, we have some excellent spoilers this year and we'll just be spoiling 2 months later than normal. The producers' tricks never phase us.


Idol Producers Pretend that Kara DioGuardi is Doing a Good Job

Undeterred by the fact that no one in America likes her, Kara DioGuardi seems to think she's doing a great job as the fourth (and most useless) judge on American Idol in a new Associated Press article. Executive Producer Cecile Frot-Coutaz lies through her teeth and says that, "We're pleased with the fourth judge." Unless Kara (pictured left, looking ugly with blonde hair) is giving the entire staff oral sex, there is no need to lie. Ask any Idol watcher, Kara brings nothing to the show but out of place comments and misplaced sexual aggression. Though one person has it right. That genius from Vote for the Worst, Dave Della Terza, says in the artlcle, "Kara's opinion is so irrelevant that I don't think people even listen to it" as he mocks her for being "humorless and unskilled for thinking on her feet." How much longer will the show keep Kara on now that she's a proven failure? Well the show does love proven failures (see: Carly Smithson, Blake Lewis), so probably for a while.
