These are not the 20 worst performances, nor are they 20 performances with bad singing. They are our 20 favorite, most entertaining performances that really define what VFTW is all about. Season 2 American Idol contestant Carmen Rasmusen is coming out to say that the Idols who the producers would like to see win are given preferential treatment. In an article she wrote for the Deseret News, Carmen talks about these discrepancies. She says, "I only received minimal vocal coaching from American Idol voice instructor Debra Byrd" while she listened to favored contestants like Clay Aiken receiving over a half hour of quality feedback and lessons each week. She also says she ws given no feedback on her performing or wardrobe choices, while it was obvious other contestants had a lot of help. Is this fair? Of course not. But that's Idol for you. Our guess is that Brooke is going to receive the Rasmusen treatment this week while the Davids are given extra attention.
