After seeing Adam Lambert's hilariously ugly album cover (see the post below this one), the Sparkle Cows are producing some hilarious reactions. While you laugh at arguably the worst Idol album cover of all time, also laugh at these comments from Adam's fans from his official website:

"I don't like it at all! he looks like a woman! no, no, no....very dissapointed..."

"Is this REALLY the cover? Of all the gorgeous pictures Adam has taken, I can't undertand why this was selected for his debut album...he looks like a woman, not the handsome man he really is. I'm so disappointed!"

"You wanted contraversy, well you got it! This is way to femine for me too. Is it air brushed? Are you naked? You are holding you face as a woman would. All that is good about this, is that it is not the Michelin Man suit! That doesn't look like a Rock God. I still love your singing, your personality, and those other looks."

"Okay...honestly...I LOVE Adam...I really do...but why so femmy?! It's like a bad Cher photo shoot from the 80's! WOW. Just...WOW."

Just a quick plug for a friend of the site. Richard Rushfield, who was a guest on our radio show a little while back, is about to release a book called Don't Follow Me, I'm Lost. It chronicles his time at Hampshire College in the 80's and it's been getting good reviews. So check out his site for some links on how to order it if you'd like.

VFTW X Factor Contestants Received the Most Votes This Week

Posted by againstallodds on October 27th, 2009 at 8:00 AM

The Sun is reporting that the X Factor contestants that are pissing off England and making VFTW smile received the most votes this week. Apparently John and Edward are smoking the competition with their Sanjaya-esque performances, and we're loving it. A quote in the article says, "If they win, it would be Simon Cowell's worst nightmare." We're not so sure about that exactly, but the survival of the terrible twins is certainly pissing off the loyal viewers of the show. So we encourage everyone on the other side of the pond to keep voting for John and Edward as much as you can. Their survival is our enjoyment.

Kris Allen Prank Calls a Vocal Coach

Posted by thefunnystone on October 27th, 2009 at 8:12 AM

Kris Allen does a prank call for a radio station where he calls a vocal coach and says he wants to sound like Adam Lambert. The vocal coach says that the whole Adam Lambert-Kris Allen thing isn't that good and says he prefers Clay Aiken. The call goes on for a good few minutes where the coach keeps saying that that Kris guy is "alright" and Kris humors him by saying "that Kris guy sucks." Kris is really showing a great sense of humor recently, we need more of this.

John and Edward Continue to Survive on X Factor

Posted by thefunnystone on October 25th, 2009 at 7:25 PM

After a hilariously bad performance of "She Bangs", John and Edward were voted through to the next round on Britain's The X Factor. In the bottom 2 were two acts that the judges universally liked, which has apparently resulted in an emergency meeting of the producers. We just hope that John and Edward will stick around for weeks to come! VFTW Victory!

Kris Allen - Preview of Song "Can't Stay Away"

Posted by thefunnystone on October 25th, 2009 at 7:02 PM

Kris Allen performed at a Miami Dolphins tailgate party and debuted some of his new songs. The clip above is low quality, but you can get an idea of what his original song "Can't Stay Away" sounds like. It's not bad. Certainly 100 times better than "Live Like We're Dying", so Who might have a chance of having a career yet. We shall see. (Via TopIdol)
