Danny Noriega released a new song. While his voice is very shaky and doesn't stay on key well, and the song sounds like a reject from Gaspy's album, this is way better than anything we ever expected from him. Nothing amazing, but Danny seems to actually be trying for a career now. It's probably too late though.

Rickey.org has a funny post up with some gossip about Adam Lambert. Apparently, this summer on the Idol tour, Adam Lambert experienced the real meaning of the word tragedy. Someone grabbed his hand while his nail polish was still drying, and then...
Lambert exploded in a full diva meltdown and shrieked: “What the %%$#@&… my nails are still wet!”
He then waved his newly smudged, black-lacquered nails for all to see, adding, in a shriek: “Look what you have done! Now I have to do them all over again.”
The poor stagehand apologised profusely, we hear, as Lambert stormed back to his dressing-room.
Probably true. Adam seems incredibly into himself, so this all seems about right.

You may remember Danny Gokey's friend Jamar Rogers from the past season of American Idol. We were none to happy to learn he was back and had made it past the first round of auditions for American Idol 9, mostly because anyone involved with Danny Gokey clearly has to be annoying. Well, we can now rest soundly, because JoesPlace is reporting that Jamar dropped out of the competition before the judges' round of auditions. That's music to our ears!

Coming as no surprise to us, Celebitchy says that the lame and offensive gay jokes that Ryan Seacrest and Simon Cowell spouted on seasons of Idol were encouraged by ex-producer Nigel Lythgoe who found them "hilarious." With Ellen DeGeneres coming on board as a judge, current producer Simon Fuller has told the two lame guys to cut out the gay jokes. Is anyone surprised that the 7 seasons of Simon Cowell telling male contestants to put on dresses and mocking Ryan were perpetuated by Nigel? It took Nigel leaving the show to have the first sort of openly gay contestant do well without jokes being made. Nigel's homophobic tendencies have been documented before, so we hope he's having fun on his Dance show. Because gay guys clearly stay out of dancing, so he's home free.

Picture from Kristen McNamara's Facebook. Now this would have been an awesome top 3 this past year. Loving it. Idol voters never get it right!

Amazon.com confirms it. It should more appropriately be named For Your Amusement, as we'll probably be laughing when it fails.
