| Don't Hollywood contestants have to disclose any history of prior convictions? if so, no wonder he pulled out rather than spill the beans on his past. |

| Agreed. I hated looking at him anyway. He looked like he jacked that Cheap Trick guy's style. |

| I really don't care about him. The best thing is Gokey won't be in the audience. Rejoice. |

| After Gokey, do you really think Idol wanted Jamar on the show? It's like Michael Castro trying out. They have to be polite, but they're stuck handling them with kid gloves even though they don't want them on the show. Idol never wants repeat storylines. I'm sure Idol pressured him out somehow. Good for Idol. |

| Good call. Residual no-talent makes things boring enough. I personally want something new to mess with. Bury this season and never resurrect the shit no-talent. for the sake of last year's drama I want something more interesting and scandalous. Has it come to this? Am I posting for the sake of wanting something more? |

| Pastor Rolex will have more singers trying out. I bet a number of his acolytes will be trying out in Hollywood. Just wait and see, we'll have the pleasure of Douchebag Gokey's smarmy face from the cheap seats come AI9. And Jamar can sit next to him and squeeze out a tear. |

I forget offhand who mentioned it (Corey Clark or Scott Savol?), but the producers have a questionnaire where they ask if you have any convictions or arrests. If they find out you held back on them, you get booted.
Jamar's past was already well known to those who wanted to do the research. He probably had more crap that hit the fan shortly afterwards which forced an "amicable" departure. |

| What exactly were his convictions? I don't want to waste 10 seconds of my life googling this POS. |

He was convicted of being a lazy ass who won't read a 5 page thread.
Oh yeah, there's also that gang thing. Our VFTW detectives are investigating... |

So he was a G from the hood who didn't have the sense to go into gangsta rap once he quit T.H.U.G. life?
Even more fail. |

| It is so sad that Jamar won't be performing. Can you imagine how good he might have been with the vocal coaching of AI's Debra Byrd? |

Yeah, Jamar will not be missed. I can't say I remember his singing. For some reason, I'm thinking he was somewhat boring, one dimensional and sang Gospel Songs.
More importantly, I do remember he was Gokey's Best Friend, so no matter how good Jamar is, if we have to see Gokey in the audience , its a smart move that he withdrew. |
