I actually think Jasmalien is improving marginally from (what little I could stomach of) that Mister Melody video. The young contestants always suck. Maybe her voice is maturing?

Aww, Jasmalien. I felt a little bad for her too. And no, she was not very good, but I don't remember her being nearly the trainwreck the judges thought she was. And LaToya may have been a great singer but she was also boring as shit, so I didn't shed any tears when she left. Anyway, the only song I remember her badly butchering is "It's Raining Men," but it's possible that I've blocked out an entire series of terrible performances...

Too bad it conveniently only happened right after I pointed out she only posts in AI5 threads. Quel surprise.

Wow, FAG followed me into every single thread I posted in this morning! It's nice to have that kind of power, I guess.

She was definitely one of the contestants who got shit on a lot to make way for the chosen one Fantasia, which is why I always kind of felt bad for her. Now I hear she's actually very popular in the Phillippines, although I'm not really sure what that says about music in the Phillipines.
