Big fucking LOVABLE weirdo!
Age: 19
Hometown: Studio City, CA
Auditioned in Phoenix
Audition song: "Baby Come To Me"
Notable traits: Nervous, twitchy, makes weird jokes. For those of you who saw CI6, he's a little like Earl Stevenson, except for the singing.
If he makes the Top 36, I hope he's on a different night from Adam Lambert.
Here's his Facebook pic.

| My first thought was it's Clay 2.0... but we'll see... he didn't annoy me as much as the rest... |

He SOUNDS like Clay, and dresses like Clay before he got famous and turned into an overweight, 52-year-old woman from a small town in Minnesota. But the similarity ends there.
He'd be a good VFTW candidate for the semifinals (again, as long as Adam isn't on the same night). You know he's going to say/do shit that will make Simon in particular do this: |

I like how he was catching that comments were going over 's big head. Not as obvious as but funny under his breath almost. |

The highlight of the night for me.
The episode was a complete bore, but this audition was quite entertaining. |

| Yeah, this guy owns. I love how nobody actually caught his wisecracks half the time. I bet he's totally going to lose his virginity because of that audition. |

| I liked him. He'll probably be cut in Hollywood though. Everyone remotely cool always does. *sigh* |

| Total weirdo. The facial expressions and mannerisms take away from the fact that he has a surprisingly good voice. That being said, he definitely has VFTW potential. The fact that Simon doesn't like him (made a joke about him coming out of the closet and voted against him making it to the next round obviously based on looks) doesn't hurt. |

I can agree with that. I need to rewatch his audition and try to imagine him doing that Napoleon Dynamite dance. If he makes it through, everyone needs to make "Vote For Alex" shirts in that cheesy '70s font. |

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he makes it through Hollywood. That would be fantastic. |

| I like this guy! He could totally piss off the tweenies if he sticks around. I doubt he'll make top 36 though. |

He's everything American Idol hates: smart, original, and creative.
He lacks everything American Idol adores: a decades long professional career in the music industry, monotonously mainstream TigerBeat good looks, and a style that is pretty much an exact copy of somebody already famous.
In other words, he is like a god to me, and I hope I get the chance to crash the AI phone banks autodialing for him. |

| Is this guy filling some nerd slot? Wasn't there a nerdy guy last year or the year before who got cut late in the game even though he sang well, but he had a good college scholarship or something? Seems like AI can come up with absolutely no one who is not a caricature of past contestants. |

| Yes, he is nerdy. However, I really do like his voice. A different tonal quality than most AI contestants. Quirky? Absolutely. Talented? Maybe so, I'll have to see more. |
