American Idol 9 Top 24 Update - Katie Stevens
VFTW is pretty sure Katie Stevens has made it to the top 24. She is the 16 year old brunette girl from the Boston auditions. Two other contestants with a chance: JoesPlace previously spoiled Ben Honeycutt and Brittany Starr James in the top 50, so they may be in the top 24, may not. More to come.

Brittany Starr James - American Idol 9 Top 50 Contestant
Brittany Starr James is a singer from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Her dad is a jazz musician. She seems like the exact type of singer Idol just loves, so it wouldn't be surprising at all if she made the top 24.
Ben Honeycutt - American Idol 9 Top 50 Contestant
Ben Honeycutt is a singer/songwriter from Georgia. He used to be the lead singer for a band called Candlefuse. He's basically another Kris Allen, so his chances of winning are slim to none, but we're sure the little girls will love him.

JoesPlace has updated the list of contestants cut in Hollywood. Also cut: Skii Bo Ski (NOOO!!!!!!), Alex Nester, Austin Simmons, Bryce Larsen, Erica Rhoades, Brittany Stone and Rose Flack. Justin Williams might have been cut- not 100% sure on that one, so we'll update you when new info comes in.

The AI9 Hollywood Cuts Begin
JoesPlace has started to post some of the contestants who have been cut in Hollywood. According to the blog, Michael Castro is out again (YAY!). Also cut: Holly Hardin (the human guitar), Katie Bernard, Leah Laurenti, Brandi Holmes, Jason Diaz, Jim Ranger, Kasi Bedford, Meagan Wright, Stephanie Daulong, and Luke Edgemon.
VFTW has also heard that Melissa Bitanga is out, so add that to your lists, everyone.

Dureyea Collier - American Idol 9 Hollywood Contestant
(None of these contestants are 100% confirmed in Hollywood, but we have sources that suggest they've made it to Hollywood for season 9 of American Idol)
Dureyea Collier from Atlanta, Georgia auditioned with the song "Rehab". He's a theatre major at Columbus State University. After seeing him in the above video lip syncing and knowing what song he auditioned with, we can see some true potential in this guy. He seems hilarious and totally VFTW funny. Don't let us down, Dureyea. We're counting on you to make it through Hollywood and bring the entertainment.
JoesPlace has a few more updates today. Artheria La'Bry (Theiry Harden) has made the top 48 (woo hoo!). Other top 48 contestants not previously announced: Bosa Mora, Charity Vance, Lilly Scott, and Tyler Grady. Brittany Starr James was cut during the chair episode. No word yet on Ben Honeycutt.
Michelle Delamor has made the top 24. Seems Idol likes its curly haired chicks this season. She performed in the South Florida Summerfest 2008 with Colby O'Donis, who is signed to Akon's record label. Due to the preview above, we're thinking Idol is going to pimp the hell out of her soon enough, so stay tuned for that.
