JoesPlace has clarified, Paige DeChausse is not in the top 24. It's actually another Paige... Paige Miles. Here is a bio about her from the Community School of Naples website:
"2004 CSN graduate Paige Miles has been on a seven-month adventure trying out for a spot on American Idol. She made it through many rounds of eliminations and is now one of 60 contestants (out of an initial 10,000) to be featured during Hollywood Week. Tuesday, January 12, is Dallas Night, and Paige will be competing for a finalist position on that show. “Paige was in Showtime ’04 as well as my first musical at CSN, Starmites,” remembers CSN’s Performing Art Chair Mark Danni. “I also cast her in a production of The 1940’s Radio Hour that I directed for The Naples Players. I have stayed in touch with her over the years and was thrilled when she called me about making American Idol. She is a wonderful singer and a beautiful human being.” Paige is studying Psychology at Prairie View A & M University in Texas. Check your local listings for time and channel to see how she does!"
The top 24 in turmoil! Well, not really. But JoesPlace has also removed Ben Honeycutt from the top 24 list. Ben's entire inclusion on the list was a spoiler that Ben's wife leaked his inclusion. This seems rather unlikely because the contestants aren't supposed to blab (see: Michael Lynche, whether true or not). Also, his YouTube videos are still up. And third, Ben is like an uglier version of Kris Allen and the producers don't need another contestant just like their last winner. Then again, that would make him clear fodder to set up the inevitable win for a female. We're just glad we don't have to listen to his obnoxious goat vibrato anymore. Either way, Ben's off for now, so there's still an open spot. Any ideas?
Joe's Place is reporting that American Idol 9 Top 24 contestant Michael Lynche may have been disqualified after his dad leaked a spoiler to the news. In an article, Marque Sr, confirmed that Michael made the top 24. Now rumors are surfacing that Michael was disqualified and some guy named Antwan Michael was brought in to take his place. Antwan (video above) seems a little strange and can't seem to sing on key, so this might be a good thing for us. We shall see.
Vered "Didi" Benami, one of the newest additions to the top 24 spoiled list, is 23 years old and from Los Angeles. She used to work as a cage fighting hostess and recently posed in a bikini calendar for charity. After Didi's friend Rebecca was killed in 2005, Didi decided not to take life for granted and moved to LA to pursue a singing career. Hopefully she doesn't share this sob story on Idol, because we've had enough sob stories this year.

As usually, Fallen Angel Gabriel was P R E S C I E N T and we got this one right. Crystal Bowersox is now confirmed in the top 24 by Idol Maniac. She's a singer from Ohio, and you'll see her on the American Idol Chicago audition episode tonight. She's got a pretty good voice, but we'll see how she comes across on the show. No sob stories please, Crystal.
By now, you've probably seen the Top 24 Spoiler that lists 20 of the top 24. We're still missing 4 female contestants. So who are they? Our resident detective and tranny spotter Fallen Angel Gabriel has done some research, and here are the 4 candidates we're keeping an eye on:
We'll see if any of these ladies do make it. If anyone knows the status of these 4 contestants, please send us an email to mail@votefortheworst.com. Anonymity guaranteed.
JoesPlace released two updates on the top 24. First, Todrick Hall is the final male (replacing previously listed contestant Ben Honeycutt, who was never actually in the top 24). Secondly, Michael Lynche appears to not be disqualified. So he may still be in it. We'll find out soon enough. So Todrick's in, and Michael's in too, according to JoesPlace. That is all.
