On the Vancouver stop of the Idol tour, during Allison and Adam's "Slow Ride" duet, someone throws a bra and then some panties on stage. And it's a big bra, probably from a 300 pound frau named Sue Ellen. Why did they pick them up? At least they got the undies off the stage as quickly as possible so the diseases didn't manifest in a toxic cloud.
We always thought the obsessed American Idol viewers were the dumbest people in the world. Well, we were wrong. These people (pictured) are. AI Now is reporting that a few pathetic morons stood outside the American Idol concert in San Jose to protest because Adam Lambert is gay. Seriously? They're protesting the fact that a gay man is singing karaoke songs? The bigoted protesters might want to hit up every karaoke bar in the country then. Apparently the morons are saying that anyone who watches the concert is going to hell. This is true, but not because Adam is gay. It's because the concert is basically a few hours of musical hell. Some of the singers are decent, but watching them sing other people's songs for hours is not exactly interesting.
Adam Lambert gives it up to anyone who wants it... musically that is (well probably sexually too because that Drake guy doesn't seem like much of a catch). Apparently unaware of the Hi Fi Records drama, J. Scott G. is preparing to release an Adam Lambert song called "Live the Life" that was recorded just before Adam went on Idol. What will Adam say about this one? And why did he record so much music with random producers just last year? Is that how he paid for the Ecstasy or something? Something's amiss here. And since he's clearly an attention whore, can the sex tape be far behind? (Story via MJ's Big Blog)
So back and forth goes the ping pong ball between Adam Lambert and Hi Fi Records. Hi Fi is set to release an album of Adam's tracks. Adam claims they were studio sessions where he recorded demos for other singers. Hi Fi releases a memo that says Adam wrote most of them. Adam then said that the songs were his own demos, that he didn't want them released, and that they didn't reflect the type of music he is now recording. All caught up now?
So now Hi Fi Records is saying that Adam Lambert signed a recording contract with them in 2008 (via MJ's Big Blog). Hi Fi is saying that it has a record contract signed by Adam on Feb. 12, 2008. If this is true, he probably wasn't out of the contract by the time he tried out for Idol in the summer of 2008, meaning he violated the terms Idol sets forth for the show's contestants (you can't have a current recording contract). So it's pretty obvious to assume why his old label is mad: Adam signed a contract with them, he decided it wasn't good enough for him, and he probably tried to get out of it by going on Idol.
We'll keep you updated on the drama, because watching Adam sqiurm over the old tracks is pretty funny. He recorded them one year ago, yet they now don't reflect the music he is currently working on? That's called being a sell out, Adam. If he did sign a contract with Hi Fi, then they have every right to release his music. Guess we'll see if the contract materializes soon.
Adam Lambert's old record label is planning to release an album this summer of Adam's pre-Idol recordings. So Adam released a statement that the songs were recorded as demos for other artists, saying, "Back in 2005 when I was a struggling artist, I was hired as a studio singer to lend my vocals to tracks written by someone else. I was broke at the time and this was my chance to make a few bucks, so I jumped at the opportunity to record for my first time in a professional studio." Is it any shock the guy is lying? TMZ uncovered a memo from Adam's old label showing that Adam coworote a majority of the songs. Clearly, Adam is just embarrassed about the songs, but what an idiot for lying about it. Now he's just going to look stupid.
Basically echoing what everyone else wants to say, Gene Simmons says that Adam Lambert should shut up about his sexual orientation and that no one cares. To be fair to Adam, he just finally said something recently, but he did continually play coy and act like an idiot for a while there, causing people to keep asking him. Now every news outlet in the world can't stop reporting on Adam's homosexuality. Maybe we should be telling the mainstream media to shut up about it rather than Adam.
Coming as no surprise to anyone, Adam Lambert was waiting to announce his homosexuality like it was a big deal in Rolling Stone. He was probably offered a big paycheck. Otherwise there was no reason for him to pussyfoot around the issue for so long. Adam is quoted as saying, "Right after the finale, I almost started talking about it to the reporters, but I thought, 'I'm going to wait for Rolling Stone, that will be cooler.'" Yeah, ok... Adam also admits he's been on plenty of drugs (pot, Ecstasy, cocaine) and that he was hot for Kris Allen, but Kris didn't reciprocate because of his wife. Hey, at least the guy is being candid and not doing the typical "I love everyone" Idol B.S. interview most contestants do, so good for him.
If you're wondering which Idol has the stupidest fans this year, look no further than Adam Lambert (not that you didn't already know this). Megan Joy's mom was running a contest where Megan's fans could win backstage passes to one of the Idol summer concerts. Well, Adam's frauen decided that they would use this opportunity to win the passes so that they could stalk Adam. When Megan's mom caught wind, she had to post:
Adam fans, you should be ashamed of yourselves for being so stupid. Yet still, some of the Adam frauen won passes by pretending to be Megan fans. One even posted their stupidity online:
No one will ever notice that this woman is not a Megan fan. Great camouflage! It seems Adam has been ditching signing autographs after the show anyway because he's had some run ins with the 400 pound frauen. Welcome to your new (and scary) life, Adam.
