Is it traitorous of me to hope the curse lives on and our pick gets voted off this week? Heh.
Anyways, I do think it was a good decision to make him the pick. It would be unfair to label any of the other contestants "the worst" when this douche is still in there. And if he does manage to win the season? Well, TPTB can't blame us when he doesn't sell a single album. We were just playing along with what they apparently wanted all along- a Taylor Hicks 2.0 victory.

I could SWEAR that not a month ago you were claiming every other day that VFTW would never, ever stoop to supporting Deadwife. But here you are...
The guy IS the chosen one. The Christians love him, the judges love him, he's never even been in the Bottom Three, he's Velveeta on Wonder Bread. What the FUCK about that makes him an appropriate pick here?
All you're going to do is help him win, which will keep the AI fools all happy in their comfort zone AND up Gokey's smugness level to radioactive fallout levels.
