Danny Gokey is Hitting on a Christian Singer

Rickey.org posted a blog from Rachel Lampa, apparently some famous Christian singer, where she talked about being contacted by Danny Gokey. In her blog, Rachel says:

"Anyhoozer, so I get a call that a fan of mine wants to meet me and would love to spend some time together… later in the call I find out that its my fav American Idol contestant, Danny Gokey! I am an unashamed Idol watcher so it was cool to spend some time with him."

Besides the fact that Rachel is obnoxious enough to use the word "anyhoozer", Danny contacts some attractive girl and spends time with her not even a year after his wife died? It doesn't mean that the two were on a date, but Danny seems like the type of skeez that would do such a thing. By the way, how is Danny finding time to call up women and get "bored" enough to teach himself guitar? Don't the Idols have strenuous schedules they have to follow? Or is Danny exempt from that since the producers love him so much?

He'a already got the golden ticket, right? So what is there to work on anyway?

Anyhoozer, it's never too soon to start working on future Dead Wife No. 2

Love how these karaoke contestants seem to forget they are still just schmucks on a reality show, and start to actually believe they are already "mega-stars". Hokey clearly started thinking past I-dull a couple weeks ago, and already sees himself as the next . . . whatever.

Maybe he's angling to "make it" in the Christian music scene. If so, makes sense to start dating an established name in that market.

I wonder if Shovel-face Timberfake has called up Britany Spears yet?

When exactly is the right time to start dating anyway? I think it is really insensitive to make fun of someone just because they lost a loved one. It's not funny anymore, never was. There has to be a line drawn somewhere. Unfunny is just unfunny and insensitive is just insensitive. This sight used to be a little more intelligent.

speaking of intelligent, its "site" not "sight"

Canada- I think the point is, he is either still torn up about his wife, and singing songs to her and raising his eyes to heaven after he performs, or he's ready to start dating. He can't have it both ways...no one can. If he wants to move on to playing the field, fine, but stop with trying to make people feel sorry for him that his wife died to get their votes. We're only being "insensitive" because it appears Danny is completely insensitive to his Dead Wife. She's just become a means to an end for him.

That would be sort of funny if she died too. Well, as funny as a tragic death can be.
