| Randy said that crap about Fantasia's Summertime in season three, Simon said it about Katharine's Over the Rainbow in season five, and useless Paula just blabs, cries and gets horny for the guys.
Maybe Randy should go back to the semi-finals and re-watch Jordin's performance of "Reflection". *barfs*
Oh, and Blake ain't no Jennifer Boomquisha Hudson. Why is he doing "Imagine"? He will be safe. The producers wanted to scare his fans into voting for him to get him past this week.
Go Melinda/Phil finale! |

| Yeah, this competition is so over. You can pretty much tell who the producers have picked to win in each season by the volume of fawning the judges do over them. If Randy and Simon especially say how a contestant can win the show (I refuse to call it a competition), that's definitely a dead giveaway. This season it's Jordin.
It's a fixed fight, folks. |

| Jordin is a sweet kid with a great voice, but she's no Sanjaya. *sigh* |

| Even more of a reason not to vote: One song each in a two hour show. No theme except "hope": and your votes will REALLY count ($) for their cause.
Once again, I may watch, but can't honestly vote for their cause. |

| Lakisha did an Idol's song - how freaking clichéd is that! Talk about a lame attempt at sucking up. Is she going to sing a medley of Kelly Clarkson and Bo Bice next week?

| You would think she would have learned from last week's critiques by the judges. I wouldn't touch an Idol song with a pole after that. |

| "Idol Gives Back".
Yeah. But the two hours of your life enduring filler, badly performed music videos, Coke and Ford plugs and MAYBE if there's time, butchered covers of treacly sugary maudlin inspirational garbage that sucked when the original artists sang them they'll keep. |

| I believe that Chis Richardson song choice will put him in the bottom of the Show this week, we may even get the boot. Lakisha really should not try to sing songs bigger than her. Doolittle could sing with a bucket on her head. Phil Stacey will do well, he has pick a song that he knows how to sing. I dont think that the negative remarks from VFTW will effect him this week. Jordin is just too cute, and that will push her along. Blake, Blake, Blake I'm going to have to hear that one, and tell him to give his grandfather his pants back.
Peace

What are the Idols singing this week and what did the judges say? The show is pretaped this week, so the tweenies at Idolforums reported the singing order and some comments:
1st to sing- Chris Richardson - "Change the World" by Eric Clapton
2nd- Melinda Doolittle - "There Will Come a Day" by Faith Hill
3rd- Blake Lewis - "Imagine" by John Lennon
4th- LaKisha Jones - "I Believe" by Fantasia
5th- Phil Stacey - "The Change" by Garth Brooks
Pimp spot- Jordin Sparks - "You'll Never Walk Alone" by various artists
Click "read more" for the judges' comments.
The judges apparently praise everyone except LaKisha. All reviews for Melinds were really good, Jordin was told she had the best vocal ever in the history of Idol by Randy, the judges all slam LaKisha for screaming (she's been doing it the whole time, apparently they weren't listening), Simon tells Phil to stick to country, the judges all seem to love nasally (which is a form of singing) tunes from Chris, and Randy didn't like Blake though Simon and Paula loved his emotion.
Reviews on our guy are mixed. Some people at the show seemed to like Phil, and some say he started off rough and got better (which is what he tends to do every single week).
