| I don't know about that, someone must like Underwood.
After all, her album, "Some Hearts," was the fastest selling country debut album in history. She's earned one American Music Award, five Billboard Music Awards, and two Grammy Awards.
I never really liked her music (I wasn't a big fan of Bo either), but she has a lot of fans. I doubt VFTW had a significant impact on her victory. |

I believe it was a mistake to support Carrie in the end.
The ideal VFTW pick should be either:
Technically bad singer (which she's wasn't) or
Entertaining (which she's definitely wasn't) or
Someone the producers didn't want to see winning (which she absolutely and utterly wasn't).
I guess the ultimate pick would be Bo. He is a good singer and not VFTW entertaining, but I'm sure that would have pissed off many people in the production who wanted to make money out of a country star (which they did).

One of the producers said a while back that Carrie led in votes by a big margin every single week- i think it was said she and Kelly Clarkson are the only ones who have done that.
Of course, one would not have known that without being able to see the vote-totals considering the pimpage that Bo Bice got in the last few weeks. HE should have the VFTW pick- remember when he came out in flip-flops!? That horrible over-rated "In a Dream" where that put that Jesus lighting behind his head. He had like no range and half the time, he looked like Charles Manson. It would have been a disaster for the show if Bo Lice had won because everything he did would have tanked.
