Why? Because he says he has taken drugs? Because he overshares? I give Adam props for admitting to being human.
I can relate to him much more than to Kris Allen, who just seems too damn perfect to be real. A non-judgemental, open-minded church leader? That's the first I've ever heard of it.
The cover is very tacky, but in a funny way.

Maybe it's like hearing a joke too many times for me. Ceases to be funny and I'm just left with the tacky. LOL!
Wanted to clarify. In no way did I mean the "critique" of the cover to be a criticism of Adam.
Do I like Adam? I have no idea. I like his voice. Do I like Kris? Again, I don't know. Don't know him. Same with all of them. I enjoy AI on so many levels, (haven't missed an episode since the day 1 debut as a summer replacement show in June of '02), love to pick apart the personalities, laugh at and love, but reserve judgement calls as to the character of the contestants.
How's this for cliche ... time'll tell.

dam Lambert, American Idol Season 8 runner up, finally comes out of the closet after months of public speculation about his sexuality on the new issue of Rolling Stone mag. Adam Lambert decided to go ahead and spill the beans, and he did so without cash loans as incentive. In an interview with Rolling Stone, Adam Lambert confirmed that he is indeed gay, and he is already signed to a recording deal as well as Kris Allen, the Am Idol winner that doesn't have the kind of thrill like his picture on the cover of Rolling Stone. (It's going to sell lots of magazines.) It's going to mean no payday loans needed for Adam Lambert.

Adam Lambert, who lost to Kris Allen in a stunning upset in the eight season of “American Idol,” recently admitted to Rolling Stone magazine that he had a crush on Allen. “I was like, ‘Oh, sh--, they put me with the cute guy,’” Lambert admitted.
“Distracting! He's the one guy I found attractive in the whole group on the show: nice, nonchalant, pretty and totally my type — except that he has a wife. I mean, he's open-minded and liberal, but he's definitely 100 percent straight.”
