Adam Lambert Finally Says He's Gay in Rolling Stone

Coming as no surprise to anyone, Adam Lambert was waiting to announce his homosexuality like it was a big deal in Rolling Stone. He was probably offered a big paycheck. Otherwise there was no reason for him to pussyfoot around the issue for so long. Adam is quoted as saying, "Right after the finale, I almost started talking about it to the reporters, but I thought, 'I'm going to wait for Rolling Stone, that will be cooler.'" Yeah, ok... Adam also admits he's been on plenty of drugs (pot, Ecstasy, cocaine) and that he was hot for Kris Allen, but Kris didn't reciprocate because of his wife. Hey, at least the guy is being candid and not doing the typical "I love everyone" Idol B.S. interview most contestants do, so good for him.

Next 4 Shocking Rolling Stones Stories;

Danny Gokey annoucing has a wife died
Allison Iraheta dies her hair
Paula announcing she is not very smart
Randy announcing he is black

I will say Adam seems to be a class act, I hope his music will be something of interest.

Roo44, that's a good one. :)

Okay, well, obviously no one is shocked by this--- even the occasional tard that drops in. I just happen to be an Adam tard but I really hope Aperilla or whatever her name is comes & comments. That'd be just hysterical.

Anyway, I am slightly surprised about the drugs. Being attracted to Kris.... well I actually wondered about that a few times, during the competition...... but illegal drugs? Sure, his skin's not the greatest but I did not see that one coming.

You do realize, Sunshine, that Adam's true self is not the smooth, black-haired emo/goth/glam rocker, but is really a red-headed, freckled, hairy-chested theater nerd.

Don't you?

I only watched AI this year without really following VFTW all that closely, so maybe someone can help me out: who is this Kris guy referred to in the article? I don't remember any Kris Allen from this year.

Still waiting for Aperilla to post her reaction video. I just went to her channel and under the favorite music section, well... Music: ADAM LAMBERT!!!!!, David Archuleta

I didn't visit this site last year, but did she post crazy shit about Gaspy, like she did about Adam?

Many of you guys have hit the nail on the head...

I was just at the Rolling Stone site this morning where there was a blurb on the article -- and one of the commenters today was IN DENIAL that it's true. I think my shock just shows that *I* was in denial about how idiotic some people are out there, running loose in the world and all. Sweet Fancy Moses.

I'm surprised by how many people seem to like the butterfly. So blatant and cliche. The snake is silly enough. Seems as if a photographer with enough experience to be doing the cover of RS should have a little more subtlety and sophistication than to come up with this
shot. A kid in a junior high photography class might think it was unique and original, but we can forgive that ... 12 and 13 year olds haven't been in the world long enough to know what's been done to death.
Disappointing..........

it's a baaaaaaaad cover. especially because of the disgusting green snake.
and the sheets look filthy. the article has too much - some facts [i think] need not be mentioned.
the article slapped me in the face and made me come back to my senses: adam isn't someone to be 'idolized' at all.
