God, my parents were too merciful to do this sort of thing to me when I was within the age bracket for Sears kids photos.
On a somewhat related note, has anyone seen the 30 Rock episode where Liz and Jenna do a photoshoot to promote their show, and Liz ends up ignoring Jenna's advice to avoid the props? The magazine winds up going with a photo of her sitting on a toilet wearing Groucho Marx glasses and holding a rubber chicken (or something like that), and when she sees the magazine she's so desperate to be recognized that she gets excited she's made the cover instead of being embarrassed.

They are playing to the Nickelodeon/Hannah Montana crowd. I don't think that the Grandma's are running to his aid anymore, and he has not made an impact on the tweens. So, this is the last-ditch effort to expand his shelf life. It will fail miserably.

Damn..... it really IS extremely uncomfortable looking at that... it looks like he's in some sort of evil, silent pain.. and its apparently very contagious.
In the first picture he looks like those small unknown entertainers parents hire to come to their kid's 5th birthday party y'know?And in the 2nd picture its like he got recognised by one of the kids from the birthday party at a mall and he wants to avoid having half eaten icecream cones thrown at him.. poor guy.
Please No flaming from arch-angels lol.. i think he's alright, just saying what comes to my mind when i see these... images..

There is no way that Gaspy keeps taking pictures like these (and the earlier ones) without playing to VFTW. Could he honestly think these pictures are good? Either way, we love that he keeps having pictures taken by second and third rate photographers for us to enjoy.
