David Foster Just Won't Let Katharine McPhee's Career Die

David Foster is not content to just let Katharine McPhee's career slowly devolve into porn, so he keeps getting her jobs. This time it's singing for a Japanese airline commerical. Dude, seriously. Stop it. No one likes Katharine except you. We don't know why you've selected her to be your fag hag, but just let her singing career die already. Thanks to MJ's Big Blog for making us aware of this.

my question is, are these planes as comfortable as the ad makes them look?
I lived in Japan for 5 years, so I had to fly JAL on occasion. With all the focus on the First & Business Class, I was surprised to see they had a brief shot of Economy Class. Now Economy Class is Economy Class anywhere in the world, but keep in mind that Japanese people are short. So JAL crams the seats in extra tight. Even better, they attach a foot rest to the seat in front, so you have even less leg room. NEVER, EVER, NEVER fly a Red Eye on JAL.
Back to business: I was in Japan during Season 5. Idol was shown on Fox Japan (1 week delayed to allow for translation. Seriously, they translate Randy and Paula's comments!) Bottom Line: it was filler, because Fox Japan didn't have any good shows for that market. So Kat McPee is not all that big in Japan, no clue why they would waste good money for her to sing that silly song.

I watched the commercial with sound turned off...sorry! The airline seats look really comfortable!
I believe that Katharine McPhee would even fail as a porn star.Her next gig should be as the national spokesperson for viagra or cialis along with her daddy/husband.They are probably already planning how to sell there baby pictures.

I didn't think her voice was THAT bad in the commercial. Maybe it was just because I was watching those comfortable airplane seats.

Holy cow, first class on JAL blows away anything I've ever seen on our domestic airlines. I bet it costs an arm and a leg though...
Okay, so I'm the only person in the world who likes McPhee...ah well, I can live with that...
