The Fix is In for David Cook- David Archuleta's Voice Coach Fills Us In

If David Archuleta's voice coach can be believed, he wants everyone to know that the fix is in. Voice coach Dean Kaelin said in a Fox Utah interview that the producers really rigged things last week to help David Cook. Dean says that the producers asked David to sing his best song first, while David Cook was told to sing his best song last so that the audience would remember it better. Gaspy also practiced singing "Longer" with an uptempo beat but was then told by producers that he had to sing it slower. Why? Probably because it might have sounded better that way. Lastly, Gaspy was going to sing "I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing", which had been cleared for him for a few weeks, but the song was taken away afrom him and given to David Cook. Dean also says that Syesha wanted to use strings (probably the full orchestra that David Cook used) in one of her songs and was told she couldn't. Who got to use the strings? David Cook of course. We believe Dean, because Idol is a shady show that does whatever it can to get the reults it wants. But what can Gaspy do (see picture for his options)? If the fix is in, the producers will stop at nothing to crown Cook. All we can do is expose the madness and try to help our gasping friend.

Theory doesn't work. The singers did not pick the order of their songs. It was the same as last year and previous years. The judge's pick, singer's pick and the producer's pick.

Incorrect Zanester.

In season 4 and 5, the picks went Clive Davis's choice, judge's choice, contestant's choice.

Thanks Wikipedia! The producers do whatever they want to help whoever they want.

Oh, yeah. . . like the "vote" counts at all. . .

It's all crap and even worsters are buying into the fiction that voting matters or is even tabulated. . .

I enjoy VFTW and use many of the arguments that I read here locally to poke the believers, but, really. . . .?

Seeeee! All you bitches whining that we chose Gaspy can suck on that. They DO want him gone, and we made the right choice. Or Dave made the right choice, anyway. Now stfu and vote for him Tuesday night.

And as for that last part, yeah. Its going to suck (although the mailbag will be hilarious) that they will be mad at us instead of Idol. Dont they realize we want to save our little gasping piglet?!

Ah, big deal. The fix was in to make it a David-David finale since about Week 10.

And if David Cook's best song was that insipid Asteroidsmith number, then I hate to see what he has in store for the Finale. I mean, seriously. I like DC, but last week, the Roberta Flack song was the only one he really did well.

I think you're wrong about the fantards blaming you if David loses. I am an Archuleta Fantard and I for one am grateful for the extra votes. Especially after hearing all the manipulating going on behind the scenes. It just makes me sick. Keep voting, but there are sources coming out of Idol that the fix is indeed in, and that Cook is already the winner, before the finale has even happened. Idol sucks.

Not only that, but there's a story out that a few years ago, Stage Dad Jeffie liked the lil' ones around town.

In a very disturbing, pedophilic nature.

Wait, I read somewhere, here maybe, that Gaspy couldn't have been planning to do the Aerosmith song because it fell on the list of songs he isn't allowed to sing because the lyrics are too sexual or something.

Am I imagining things?

If anything, I think the producers are responsible for he vocal coach's comments in an attempt to create controversy and get more viewrs for the finale.

Maybe the producers just thought Archie singing the line "I don't wanna close my eyes" would be way too ironic.
