Well I've been away for a couple of days and haven't caught up as yet.

So will my comment get read? Don't know - don't care.

But I'll make it anyway

I saw the finals on Tuesday - all the judges did were to say little Gaspy won the night - won round one. Won Round TWO - then the evening went to GASPY!

Sad to say, Cookie looked dejected in front of the judges since they were all gushing over little gaspy - as they had done all season long. Why? who knows?

From the beginning of the season it seemed to me that either the plant or Gaspy were destined to be the Idol. Once the plant left, then Gaspy would be the idol - or so it looked.

Then Syesha bolted out of the gate to overtake everyone else with her singing and dancing and yes, her acting abilities, because being the idol, being a stage performer is about Acting. And she blew away all her competitors. And she should have blown away little gaspy.

To me the finale should have been between to voices - Syesha's and David Cooks - the little Gaspy's gasps would have been out.

I'm not saying that Gaspy don't have talent - he does, but he doesn't have the maturity or the resonance in his voice yet. You know what I'm saying the Timbre -the vibrato - that comes with maturity. Gaspy cannot put emotions into his songs either. His Dad must have sheltered him all his life - sheltered him from Love -Sex - being horney - heck - he's a 17 year old guy and should be oozing Sexual chemistry - but does he? No! He's exudes as much sex as a cup of milk.

AS the season went on the Producers of AI saw this fact - and they finally realized there was no way they could make Gaspy the AI - why? they couldn't promote this guy to the mainstream america! All they could do with him is promote him to the Disney Tweens. That's it. And when he gets into his 20's - what will he be? The same sexless boy? Who knows? Who really knows?

So the producers had to change their minds. And do it fast. They didn't want Jason -and Jason didn't want it either. They thought about Syesha - but they've had too many women - and look at that absurd performance Fantasia put on with BORE ME the other night. So that left David Cook - a decent Rocker - the second Rocker to make it to the finals. A 25 year old with a more human look then Bo Bice (with his hair to his fannie). Cook will do. So Cook will be it.

I doubt you will post this, but it is so obvious that you are telling everyone to vote for David Archuleta, so that you can claim YOU threw the competition in his favor. He has been the favorite the whole way through. The judges give him lavish praises every time, even though it sounds the same as the song before, or he makes mistakes. He is the one they have been pumping to win. And DA singing Aerosmith??? Ridiculous. They only recently have mentioned David Cook as a possible winner; and that is probably just so people are "surprised" by the outcome (Archuleta winning). Don't let these VFTW idiots sway your vote. They are full of it!

That doesn't make any sense. The contestants weren't given the choice of what order their songs came in... they went "judge's choice, contestant's choice, producer's choice"... and frankly, they gave Gaspy easy songs to sing while Cook was given challenges. If Cook sounded better, it's because he WAS better, not because there was some crazy rigging going on that made him sing the song that was supposed to be sung last-- LAST.

and this is a surpirise in what way? every season cons a screwed with to get the results TPTB want. same ol same ol, there's nothing new here.

I believe everything in this story from the Prince Gaspyan camp. Why? Because, as we speak on the day of the finale Simon is PIMPING DC to high-heaven. He went on both Leno and Ellen and insulted Gaspy in his non-chalant way and encouraged the audience that Big-Head should win.

The most ridiculous answer I heard from him was on Leno, "Dave Cook should win because he worked in a Bar, he's had it harder."

GIVE ME A FUCKING BREAK.

This show is fucking fixed. Give the baby his bottle. The kid obviously wants it more. VOTE PRINCE GASPYAN TONIGHT!

Agreed with Moxie on the sympathy votes. I had the same thought as I was supposed to be drifting off to sleep last night. (Sad, really, that I was supposed to be sleeping and instead I was thinking about this bullshit.)
I'm guessing Jeff told his flunky, Dean, to blather about how unfair Idol was so that all the tweentards (and their middle-agetard parents) would vote for poor little gasp-boy, to keep his dreams from being crushed.

The AI cash cow needs to release Archie's album as quickly as he can squeak out the songs before the tweenies forget about him. Because if they do, they will make a mint. I remember reading a few years ago (when I worked in retail) that tweens had the greatest percentage of buying power. That really stuck with me because, let's face it, they have no goddam money of their own. It's not as if they have jobs, and they can't ALL have grandparents who give them $100 bills for their birthdays. That leaves the parents who will buy them anything to "prove" their love. Almost as pathetic as a parent who whores out his tween son to make money for the family. Oh, hello, Jeff!

The vocal coaches comments don't make sense. The best Archuleta song was a judges choice and I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing was a producer's choice (and it was not the best David Cook song of the evening). If they changed it so the judges choice was last, Cook still would have had the last song. Imagine him ending with The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face -- it would have been even better. The vocal coach is just trying to stir up some sympathy...I wonder how he would do explaining With You.

ok, this is ridiculous. This is called damage control by the Archuletta family. I guess you all think Naomi Judd lied to. For what reason? Her fifteen minutes of fame? oh, wait, she is already famous. Not for a minute would I believe that Lil David is being thrown under the bus. Jason is already resting there. Lil David has been pimped from day one. Lil David singing I don't want to miss a thing-right, i can see that now...not. Randy has said lil david is "in the zone" the one to beat, motlen hot all season, honestly, even when he wasn't and messed up the lyrics, did excessive lip licking, didn't move on stage at all, moves one arm only, and has problems with breath control. Could he be any more pimped?

when syesha wanted the same Neil Diamond song, David Cook gave it to her just like he would have given lil david whatever he wanted but the producers stuck Cookie with it-not much he could do. I'm seeing some real inconsistencies in Dean's story. I see no reason to vote for lil david only because his father is a jerk. everyone encounters road blocks in life. you must learn to go over or around them. daddy could have been replaced with mommy or another guardian but david wanted him. this whole dean story is damage control.

This sounds about half possible. As far as the first accusation, the songs for each round were not chosen by the contestants. And, actually, They BOTH sang their best songs first. Cook's "First Time Ever..." was much much better than that sappy crappy Diane Warren load of goop and he sang it much better as well. And did the producers FORCE David A to massacre any slight chance he had by choosing FOR HIMSELF the Chris Brown song which was quite possibly the most awkward performance EVER on the Idol stage.

I believe they may not have allowed Syesha to do things as she wanted, becasuse obviously they didnt want there to be any opportunity for her to actually ruin their dream finale. I mean, they gave her a song from Happy Feet, could there be ANYTHING they wouldn't do to get her off the show???

However I do not buy they are trying to fix this final. It has been clear since day 1 they want Archuleta to win and Cook to be #2. God, I hate David Archuleta, I will not be voting for him.

Oh please. You really believe anything that comes out of Camp R2D2? Jesus. You all spent so goddamn much time hating on Carly that you didn't see where the real power, glory and pimplant was. They have suckered you all season and you are still falling for their CRAP!

I believe it could be possible this is true, because TPTB have probably been watching the iTunes sales. Bighead has been making more money for them then Gaspy, and for AI we all know it's about the bottom line and MONEY.

TPTB probably have been checking out all the polls, websites, iTunes and figured that TCO is really not the Gasper, but the Cookie Monster. So they are now focusing in on Bighead.

TPTB want another Daughtery on their bloody hands, plus they don't have to haggle with the stagedad from hell.

Though there is no doubt in my mind that this show is totally rigged, I think the only reason that Gaspy's camp is bitching about it is to save face if he loses. Or perhaps they are hoping that TPTB, in an effort to prove the show is not fixed, will declare Archie the victor. What a fuckwad. I mean what was the point of this? Gaspy made the top two, he gets a record deal either way, he's got the fame (and the batshit crazy bitch brigade) he obviously wants. It's not like the Archutards didn't know what they were getting themselves into from the get go. They have experience in the biz.

I'm actually feeling sorry for Big Head about now -- what an awkward position to put him in man. He may be somewhat arrogant, but he is the last non-plant left so I've been kind of routing for him.

I was only supporting Gaspy as our pick to piss off the fantards. Now I hope he wins to spare Big Head the controversy.

Wait, I read somewhere, here maybe, that Gaspy couldn't have been planning to do the Aerosmith song because it fell on the list of songs he isn't allowed to sing because the lyrics are too sexual or something.

Am I imagining things?

If anything, I think the producers are responsible for he vocal coach's comments in an attempt to create controversy and get more viewrs for the finale.

Not only that, but there's a story out that a few years ago, Stage Dad Jeffie liked the lil' ones around town.

In a very disturbing, pedophilic nature.

Seeeee! All you bitches whining that we chose Gaspy can suck on that. They DO want him gone, and we made the right choice. Or Dave made the right choice, anyway. Now stfu and vote for him Tuesday night.

And as for that last part, yeah. Its going to suck (although the mailbag will be hilarious) that they will be mad at us instead of Idol. Dont they realize we want to save our little gasping piglet?!

The only things I question about what this vocal coach guy is saying:

1. "I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing" was David Cook's best song? I guess I'm not a vocal coach or anything, but I thought he sounded absolutely awful and off key for the whole song.

2. These guys are fighting over who gets to sing songs as groundbreaking and revolutionary as "I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing?" That's like two dung beetles fighting over a pile of excrement. No matter who wins the fight, it's still just a pile of crap. Personally, I'd be fighting not to sing that awful song.
