Paula Abdul Proves that The Show is Rigged Behind the Scenes

Watch Paula read the lines she was fed by producers to say to Jason after his second performance. She says these after his first performance. The audience laughs at her since she's commenting on a performance that hasn't happened yet, and Simon and Randy look mortified that she messed up so bad. VFTW Victory! Even her "save" was pathetic. She then said the comment was meant for David Cook. Except the comment was "you're not fighting hard enough" and her comment for Cook was "fantastic." You go, Paula. Mess up more and expose the show!

Hypocricy at its finest. This show isn't that important and we should get over it, but you come here to defend it? THE SHOW ISN'T THAT IMPORTANT, AI FANS. GET OVER IT.

This is just my humble opinion, but this site is still funny, and mostly for two reasons: First of all are the rabid raging fans who come here to defend a show that really has no effect upon their lives, and, secondly, because of articles just like this one. Paula goofed. The show goofed. Just like it's fun to watch a swaggering jackass fall on his butt, it's freakin' HILARIOUS to watch the lumbering behemoth AI take a tumble.

"Dude, it's clear that she either wrote down her notes during the rehearsals, which isn't fair to the contestants, or someone wrote them for her."

Ding, Ding, Ding! Uh, Alex, I'd like "Producers told Paula what to say" for 100, please!

And, ITs the DAILY DOUBLE!!!! :-)

Seriously - either way, its clear that SOMEONE pre-judged how the outcome should be last night. No matter how you slice it, its clear that something either mildly or BLATANTLY unfair is going on.

How anyone can watch that cluster-Q@#$% last night, and the continual "pimping" of poor performances that's gone on every single week, and not "get it", is just beyond me. . . .

"And damn, who let all the tards in? We need some tard-be-gone spray up in here."

You should copyright that, pronto.

During the opening sequence when Ryan talks about the intense pressure, did anyone else notice Jason make a face and laugh, and when Ryan asks whether someone will falter tonight, it seems Jason mouths the words... "Yeah, me."

Joking, or is he well aware that he is the current target of TPTB? I still think VFTW missed the boat on this kid.

FWIW, which isn't much, DialIdol had Jason dead last Tues night late - this morning he's slightly ahead of Brooke who has fallen to the bottom.

I hope you are right about this gaff saving Jason - IMO it was clear from the look on his face ALL NIGHT - even during the first song, that he realized he was being thrown under the bus. Imagine what he must have felt like standing up there as Paula drunkenly botched her lines and let the cat out of the bag!

Simple answer - the producers decide in advance who gets praised and who gets panned by the judges. (There's really little other way to rationalize how pimpchulletta gets consistent rave reviews for grossly inconsistent performances.)

Simon and Randy are not stoned so they don't need cards - Nigel tells then how to play it, they run with it. Simple for any reasonably intelligent adult to handle.

But Paula can't handle it. She gets note cards every week. Its easy enough when its one song at a time - she probably reads all the cards before the show. If she needs a reminder, she can re-read a card during the commercial break, or as the next singer is introduced and the video clip rolls.

A little tougher this week - she forgot to read ahead, or got confused, or whatever. She remembered she was supposed to pan Jason's first song, then question his effort on the second - but she was too out of it to realize they'd only song one song each.

At least that's one possible explanation.

I've been saying this all along - Jason is the ULTIMATE "Non-Idol" - he was ONLY there to play the "goofy kid" role - same as "chicken little" a couple years ago, same as our Papaya last year!

You don't have to be a psychologist to realize that Jason has given up on the show at least TWO weeks ago - IMO because he realized how totally fixed it really is, and realized he had ZERO chance.

Remember him YAWNING last week????

last night, you could look at his entire expression, eyes, face, body language - he was "Going through the motions" last night because he knew he was being thrown under the bus. Not only did he get the "Death Spot" of performing first, did anyone else Notice that he was the ONLY contestant assigned TWO "down-tempo" songs?????

I really hope the producers panic and keep him on one more week. The end result (David A vs. C.) is Still inevitable, but I'd just like to see him give one more good performance.

Oh there is NO WAY, regardless of what week he goes, that this won't come up in the exit interviews.

And what Jason lacks in vocal skill, he more than makes up for in entertainment. And he's prettier than Paula. So maybe we should vote her off this week and keep Castro.

Right, if you don't want American Idol to crash and burn so badly, then stop voting for the worst and vote for someone with some talent.

My username sucks? Well that's just your opinion isn't it?
As for number four, how did you come up with that? It's pretty stupid, besides, you don't even know me. Just an opinion I voiced on a website. It's pretty stupid to judge someone because of a comment on a website.
