Notice her eventual comment when Jason did sing the second time was the same comment about fighting that she made here. It certainly does seem like she was going to say that no matter how Jason did. So either she comes up with the lines before hand, or someone feeds her the lines before hand. Either way, not good.
It's also weird how long it took for someone to correct her. You'd think Simon or Randy would have leaned over and whispered to her that he's only sung once right away. Ryan and the contestants didn't seem to react to the absurdity of it either until Randy corrected her. The whole thing was just weird.

Another obvious fix today was Simon tell Sayesha that she "might be in the trouble this week." Obviously a trick to mobilize her support and keep her around for another week. It seems like it might be working, since she's number one at dialidol.com. I'm hoping it backfires on him and Archie gets booted. Archie was just awful this week. Worst he's ever been.

You don't think it's weird that this "slip up" only came to light during this first week of two songs? Any other week, and she doesn't have to worry about giving the critique to the line of people, she can give it one at a time. But she messed up on the week where she had two performances each to critique, when they were standing in the line getting their reviews one right after the other, rather than in the "perform, then judges" format.
In other words, she didn't really have an opportunity to screw up so bad before.

I'm reading on some blogs that Paula didn't even make it to rehearsals until after everyone was done today. Could just be rumors, but if someone can actually verify this, they could be in some serious trouble.

David Archuleta is truly and utterly the worst, for a host of reasons. One being his 'runs' - as dickhead Randy calls them. That singing style of his is just tired and repetitive.
Same shit, different week for Archuleta.

God only knows what they had rigged up for this week. However, with dumb shit Paula's "mistake" no way they're gonna be able to boot Jason if that was the plan. His fans will cry foul and it won't want it brought up on exit interviews. Whether or not Jason is still in his pot-induced haze and realizes it yet,but he is safe as can be. MAJOR FUCK UP PROOF OF AI RIGGING. Rehearsals my ass. If it were an honest mistake because of rehearsals and everyone knows that go by them, she would have just said so. She had to think of a quick but lie "This is for David C". LOL. What a dumb ass.

ewonline.com has a weekly post where they have one of their writers go to idol shows. they said they will post how all this hub-bub went down with Paula tommorow. The columnist also goes to the dress rehearsals...so we shall get to the bottom of this!

...except that none of the judges were at the dress rehearsal - her standin was a redhead with a wig. there's probably not even enough time to watch a recording between the two...

Watch Paula read the lines she was fed by producers to say to Jason after his second performance. She says these after his first performance. The audience laughs at her since she's commenting on a performance that hasn't happened yet, and Simon and Randy look mortified that she messed up so bad. VFTW Victory! Even her "save" was pathetic. She then said the comment was meant for David Cook. Except the comment was "you're not fighting hard enough" and her comment for Cook was "fantastic." You go, Paula. Mess up more and expose the show!
