This is bullshit. This was the night Carly should've left. Did Randy save her? The producers fuck around? I'm glad our girl is thru but if they don't kick Carly off after that, then don't be surprised if she wins the whole fucking thing.

I normally prefer the Bo Bice, Daughtry, Jason Castro variety, but it was SO good. I even bought the single. You should check it out on youtube when it comes out.

I think Idol has its flaws, but it doesn't make sense to get rid of a higher vote-getting (and marketable) contestant to save a lower vote-getting contestant. I think it's much more likely that the other sites got it wrong.
If I understand them correctly, DialIdol focuses only on dialed calls, and zabasearch focuses on text messages, both look at a relatively small sample size. Both have a margin of error--dialidol didn't predict that Carly was going to be eliminated, but that the 5 lowest contestants could be eliminated. Carly happened to be the lowest vote getter in that group.
Unfortunate, as I thought last week was a good opportunity to get rid of Carly early. And, unfortunately, there's still a lot of fodder around that can save Carly for another week or two, if she learns how to pick the right song, turn in a good performance, dress herself, not screech, not look angry, get a facelift, learn how to put makeup on, hide her tattoo, hide her scary husband, and stop turning into Carnie Wilson in front of our eyes. OK, I drifted a little into the hate there, but you get the idea.

Black people can't win American Idol? That's odd. I hope no one told that to Ruben Studdard, Fantasia Barrino, or Jordin Sparks. You know, cuz they are black. And they... won... American Idol...
