Amanda Overmyer Sings the National Anthem at the ESPN X Games

A little birdy tells us that Amanda will be singing the national anthem during the ESPN X Games. She'll be singing before the Navy Moto X World Championships, taking place in San Diego at Qualcomm Stadium on Sunday, April 13 around 11:45 AM. Go support our chile, and even if you can't, it will be webcast on ESPN360.com and EXPN.com so you can watch. Chile is really making a name for herself. Looks like VFTW knows how to pick 'em!

You act as if there is something wrong with a grown man obsessing over a beautiful doll in fishnet stockings.  Oh, wait.  Oh, there is.  I see it now.  Oh, okay.  Sorry.


On another note, I'm still trying to wrap my head around the tennis racket, Hot Wheels, and pool table toy wars.  It all sounds very strange and potentially painful.


And you know if that was Jason Castro's head on that doll, you'd be all over it.  Don't lie.

Amanda will have the dignity and grace to sing the National Anthem WITHOUT putting a chile in it.  That would destroy her career.  Roseanne Barr tried something ridiculous with the National Anthem, and it didn't go over well.

Where, WHERE can I find the JC doll???


Ahem, excuse me, got a little carried away.


On the war games, many times it's just the Hot Wheels against other Hot Wheels, usually on the pool table. It looks to me like a race/destruction derby hybrid but, if there's a tennis racquet around, well, all bets are off. But at least I don't let my son play with dolls. This one's only 8 and HE wants to vote for the Arch-boy. OTOH, he thinks burping the alphabet is funny, so what does he know?

That's just so awesome!  I'm so happy and proud for our Chile!  I knew she'd have a bright future, but having all these performances and stuff arranged basically right after she gets voted off is just more than I could ever ask for!  WE LOVE YA, AMANDA!!!
