David Hernandez is Not Ashamed of His Past... at the Pizza Bistro
PageSix has a post-boot interview with David Hernandez where he says he's not ashamed of his stripper past. David is quoted as saying, “I think America is smart enough by now to know that people’s personal lives should not influence their musical career.” People's personal lives ALWAYS affect their careers. *cough* Britney Spears *cough* David also says that the producers knew about his stripping all along (duh) and that he's “not ashamed of anything in my past.” Past? This was like 5 months ago. You were doing it up until you had to leave for Hollywood week on Idol. That's not your past, that's like yesterday. Oh well, his delusions about getting a record deal are even funnier, but hey, maybe America likes closeted gay stripper pizza bistro workers more than we think! Maybe this whole thing has just taught him to stop lying for no reason at least.

I think he was serious as TMZ reported that some producers are planning some songs for him. Whether it will sell or not is another matter.

What is funniest is when he talks about working with Alicia Keyes and David Foster (but on songs he writes himself!).
I'm embarrassed to admit it, but I think his stripper past made him kind hot and sexy. He is, after all, a cute guy with hot bod. I was sad to see him go. Oh well, at least Amanda survived.
Well, he was a stripper and made it all the way to #12 on AI7, THE BEST SEASON EV-AHHH, so why wouldn't Alicia Keys and David Foster want to record songs that he wrote? [/sarcasm]
Maybe with all the melisma, David Foster might think he's KatPee. Otherwise, there's no hope.

I too must admit that David's stripper past was hot and sexy. I thought he would last a few more rounds at least. Although he can sing, his attempts to put a "diva" spin on absolutely every note that came out of his mouth made listening to him quite painful.

I think you should stop, coz he's already off the show and since you guys are still doing this nastiness to him, it just means that you're not just trying to ruin people's chances on the show, you're also trying to ruin people's chances of making it...
