why does everybody make such stupid comments on people on American idol. They are just like us exept they can probaly sing MUCH better than you. Your just posting comments because your probaly jealous. I think Melinda is beutiful. Blake is hot. Jordan is beutiful. Something that all have in commen is though is that they have an incredible voice. So really think about it, their good you just dont want to admit it. So if American idols are looking at this right now i just want to say that your perfect the way that you are and dont let these stupid messages bring you down, So just to let you know Ijm support you guys. Also to tell you the truth i dont vote because your all just GREAT!!!
ps.To all you veiwers out there reading this, just to let you know im not sucking up to them im just telling the truth. You all know the truth you just dont want to admit it because your jealous!!!

| Blake shouldn't win. He SHOULD get a record deal, but if he wins idol will change him and thats not want we want. We want Blake, the hot beat-boxing guy not some other guy. |

Yeah, that's exactly the point I was trying to make.
I actually do like American Idol to some extent because I like to see the singers who actually have talent, such as Melinda. All I'm saying is, don't try to destroy it. YOU don't watch it if you don't like it. Because a lot of people do, and your own selfishness doesn't give you the right to take that away.
Maybe I do have the whole concept wrong. Maybe I am the low guy on the totem pole here. (For the record though, M-Dawg, you contradicted yourself a couple times there--"suspicious," am I, for returning and posting, when you have posted more than double what I have?) All I'm saying is, regardless of the reason, you don't have the right to destroy something that other people enjoy just because you don't enjoy it yourself.
Now I know you're gonna go on some rant, calling me crazy or stupid, saying I've got it all backwards, trying to justify what you're doing. And I don't care. No matter what the reason is, you just don't have the right.
Say whatever else you want. I've made my point, whether you're open-minded enough to understand it or not. |

Sigh...if you've been around this site long enough (and I'M still a newbie!), you'd know that I'm only programed to Ass Spank when a VFTW hater begs for it...
And, well, you did ask for an mini-Ass Spanking before, so, well, ya' know...
Here, you clearly articulated your thoughts without being a jerk. So, why would I spank your ass now?
As a matter of fact, I completely understand what you're writing. I have had some favorite television shows that I loved...what makes us different, however, is that I absolutely chose to ignore individuals who hated my favorite television shows. I didn't let their hatred affect my enjoyment...websites or not, I Tammy Wynetted 24/7/356. And I certainly didn't EVEN attempt to infringe upon their clearly defined First Amendment rights.
Perhaps you can learn a little something from this chat that we're having...
Anyway, you have a right to love this show, and some Worsters (clearly, not all of them!) have the right to try to get this dreadful piece of bat crap (guano, for those who are more erudite than I) off the airwaves and blown to smithereens, never to be heard from again.
It's the United States of America, my man...an imperfect Union, granted, but one where the concept of freedom of speech, overall, works pretty darned well.
So, you're declaration that folks don't have a right to try to dredge television programming to rid itself of this blighted cancer is NOT CORRECT. Yes, Virginia, we DO have the right to do this.
You've also missed a HUGE point, which makes me, quite frankly, wonder about how you comprehend matters. Many Worsters (including Dave) don't want AI to disappear; they want AI rid itself of its mendacity, arrogance and hypocricy. That is a CONSTANT THEME on this site. Your sweeping generalization that this site/Dave/all Worsters want to "destroy" AI is naive at best, and willful and purposeful ignorance at worse.

P.S. -- As to me allegedly "contradicting myself," I'm from Missouri -- SHOW ME. Your vague comment doesn't make any sense to me.
As to the other allegation, I have no idea whatsoever what you're talking about. Again, what you've written is unclear and vague. If you have some issue as to when I post, I refer you to my previous posts...you can check out when I posted and in what sequence.

I concede defeat. Nightwing, you've proven your point clearly and I can honestly say I fully understand now--very well said. I have been put in my place and I admit it.
Naivety it was, but I am new here.
As for the vague comments, I was just slightly confused as to why you were accusing me of having "no life," seeing as I kept returning to this site to post comments. That confused me because, through looking at the comments on numerous posts, I've seen a mass of your own comments which nearly doubles my total.
Anyway, thank you for not solidly delivering the "ass-spanking." Your points have been driven home.
I do, however, take considerable offense to some of your allegations, as it seems that you have been talking down to me. May I just say that simply because I disagree with you doesn't mean I'm in anyway inferior to you, intellectually or otherwise. As you have touch upon and as I said above, there were some things I assumed incorrectly, and that was due to naivety. Remember, I'm new here. I dislike your immediate assumption that I am in any way below you.
I apologize for sounding harsh in previous posts as well, as I respect your opinions. I am hopeful that, with this cleared up, you can respect mine, and there will be no hard feelings.

I am pretty much humbled by your last post...and I apologize for tone I took with you.
Ty, I absolutely respect everyone's opinion...I only move into "attack mode" when Dave, this site, my fellow "Worsters" or I am attacked. I am fiercely protective of Dave, VFTW and my fellow "Worsters," and I'm professionally trained to go for the juggler.
In saying all of this, though, I am FLOORED by your post, and I want to thank you publicly and acknowledge that you did a very, VERY classy thing...which means that you're a very, VERY classy individual.
I have a brother who (along with his wife) LOVE AI...and who HATE/DESPISE/ABHOR VFTW. But...we love each other dearly, and we agree to disagree...well, we also smack each other upside the head with verbal brickbats once in a while while discussing AI... :-)
Point being, again, that the folks who come on this site and discuss their disagreements with VFTW without spewing any hate, ignorance and/or homophobia are WELCOME here. Please check some other threads for some kick-ass "agree to disagree" discussions between 80Amps/Magooish and 80Amps/Syndrome Zed.
And please please PLEASE continue to post your opinions here, whether or not they're "rubber stamped" by the Worsters...
You've shown your true colors, and, in the process, shown me up. Comuppance is nothing new to me, and I truly appreciate your graciousness in calling me out in a classy, terrific manner.

Hey guess what guys?! Blake didn't win. Aww are you going to cry? By the way, what are these "VFTW victories" you're talking about? If you were as powerful as you think you are, Sanjaya would be our idol this year. But guess what, you're failures. You can't claim to have a victory if you keep changing your "worst idol." That's like betting on one race horse and when he falls behind you move to the next. DOESN'T HAPPEN. So grow up, get a life, and move out of your mom's basement.
You have absolutely no power in this competition. Even though I love him to death, I'm glad Blake didn't win so you losers can't claim him as one of your phony successes.

Thank you M-Dawg. I appreciate your understanding and I can see that you as well have a lot of class.
As for you, "youareallidiots"... I think it's pretty clear that Sanjaya is, in fact, the de facto winner of Idol this year. I mean, come on, he's by far the most popular and well known, not to mention more entertaining than any of the other contestants this year (although that bush creature from auditions was pretty freaky...)
I may disagree with what VFTW does, but I have to admit, Sanjaya did pretty damn good this year. Jordin's got nothin' on him.

We've learned that after the show on Wednesday, the coin was flipped to find out who would sing first. Blake won, but decided to let the producers or Jordin pick. The winner almost always sings second, so the Wookie picked the second spot. This is hilarious, Blake doesn't even want to win, because he doesn't want to be attached to Idol for the rest of his life. This means he will go all out to mess up big time this week and provide us with some great VFTW victories! It also means that we have to help him win to make Idol mad, since everyone involved with the show is salivating over a Jorbacca win.
