Blake is Trying as Hard as Possible Not to Win!

We've learned that after the show on Wednesday, the coin was flipped to find out who would sing first. Blake won, but decided to let the producers or Jordin pick. The winner almost always sings second, so the Wookie picked the second spot. This is hilarious, Blake doesn't even want to win, because he doesn't want to be attached to Idol for the rest of his life. This means he will go all out to mess up big time this week and provide us with some great VFTW victories! It also means that we have to help him win to make Idol mad, since everyone involved with the show is salivating over a Jorbacca win.

this is ridiculous. blake isn't a bad singer what so ever. he's pretty great actually. i hope people do vote for him, cause he deserves it. you guys will think it a victory for ya'll, but trust me, it's a victory for us and him. even if jordan wins, i won't complain. i'd be happier if melinda was still here. she deserved it. but you know what? keep telling people to vote for him, he isn't bad. __________________________

This site is a perfect example of losers that have no life and too much time on their hands. Get a fucking job, pay some taxes, try voting for something that will make a difference in the world, and don't worry that there is a singing competition on TV that you could never even be considered for. AI is great entertainment, the contestants are doing their best (something you people wouldn't know about) and really, is it hurting you in any way to let this contest take it's course without you all screwing with the results? I have made my living for the past 25 years being involved with musical competitions, and I am really offended that people would go to this extent to cheapen someone's efforts.

If you really were a career musician, you would see AI as it really is - a lame arse karaoke high school-level singing contest, aimed at making TPTB richer and the kiddies that enter this, sucked dry and left tarred forever from the experience. It's bad entertainment, made tolerable thanks to VFTW. I have a job, thanks for asking, and pay my taxes like a good little PAYE employee. How about you, are you milking your government for grants and handouts because you're an "artiste"? :) What music competitions are you involved in? Singing dog shows? Oooooo I know, toddler pageants, right? At shopping centres? You GO GIRL! Rock on! *\m/* http://smartiesplace.blogspot.com __________________________

vote for the worst isn't just about the worst singer its the person the producers don't want to win. they obviously love jordin, since she they always ask her viewer questions. they'll have her joining the cosby show girl in the cheata girls or make her the hillary duff that can sing. they hate blake, he broke curfew, and didn't thank god in his profile. __________________________

Dear, they cheapen their own efforts just by going on the show.

You are right about AI. It's entertaining to millions of people and it's not about violence or cheap sex. A lot of those here would love it if it were about those things. AI is about creating spin. It give people something to talk about that is not politics, religion, etc. We need more of that in these dark times. Having said that I admit that many of the negative comments here are amusing or witty. And I was amazed to see Melinda on the show the other night followed by an ad for the new Shrek movie. That was not an accident. AI is playing off this site just as this site is playing off AI. So it's all in fun. Jordan seems like a wholesome sort of girl and someone is desperately needed who can become a highly visible, role model for young girls in this country. I look forward to watching her progress. I hope she succeeds beyond her wildest dreams. Because it is all about success and our need for it. Even VFTWorsters would have to agree with that. They enjoy the success of this site, perverse as it sometimes becomes.

"try voting for something that will make a difference in the world" Personally Careermusician, I prefer to DO something that will make a difference in the world. The fact that many of us find a harmless outlet for amusement here on VFTW does not therefore exclude our responsibility to be active in our individual communities. I just spent 3 week working kitchen duty at a local homeless shelter because they needed help...and there were no careermusicians out there to jump in and do the work. Frankly, they were too busy trying to make a dollar after 19e took all of their contract money via recoupment of expenses posted against their album sales. And you? Ok first of all i dont think your site makes a difference at all! Just because Melinda was voted out this week doesnt mean ur site worked, lol jeeze sure i think its rigged but ur site is way too over rated now after the whole sanjaya thing and i think the website it taking credit for things it shouldnt be but whatever and its funny cause u leave a option for people to leave their comments yet u bitch that they do...doesnt make sense to me!

I don't think that it is anywhere near a high school level talent show. Some of these singers are very, very, good. Yes, it is aimed at making someone richer, but at the same time, some of the contestants get richer as well. No harm no foul. I also don't believe that there has been one winner left hung out to dry. All of them have moved on to bigger and better things. AI has even created superstars, i.e. Carrie and Kelly. Grammy award winning artists. I do agree that AI is a reality show and they do what they have to do to generate viewers, but again I say, they aren't hurting anyone. If anything they are allowing oppurtunites for those that were willing to put themselves out there in the public eye. (Not a place that I would want to be) You have people following you everywhere, people scrutinizing your every move. More power to them that they had the balls to get out there and make thier lives better and AI played a big part in that.
