| I can believe the nuts who have said that voting for Sanjaya is the same as child abuse. Take a reality pill and chill out--dont be such drama queens! You cannot compare voting for the worst idol contestant--Snajaya--to children who are sexually and physically abused. If the worst that has happened in Sanjayas life is that he has been mocked--then he is lucky. He has set himself up to be a professional and a professional, a star, has to have a thick skin. If he cannot take it then he should bow out, and stop allowing better singers than him go out. He knows he is the worst but he does not mind the humiliation--obviously. And as for brining up the Iraqi war to compare how friviolus it is to vote to keep Sanjaya on--sheesh--where do you people get your distorted values? We are talking about about one-hundred thousand Iraqu deaths and over three-thousand American deaths and you think it really matters who we vote or do not vote for on American Idol? If you think the voters of Sanjaya are insensitive to the men and women who are fighting in Iraq--then blame their desensitation to the war on the Bsh administration who told us to keep shopping and to live our lives as if nothing had changed. Blame the Bush Administration for manipulating the American people and treating them like children to be protected from the realities of the war by hiding the caskets that come back home. Its a television show--thats all--not to be compared to children who are abused or to people who are sufering and dying in Iraq. If you are concerned with the social ills of the world--what are you doing watching American Idol? I think it would make for the best American Idol--ever--if Sanjaya went all the way. Then we would have made history brining about the demise of this overated television show. What I have not heard anyone ask is how the heck Sanjaya ever made it to Hollywood in the forst place? It does not matter who wins--there are record producers who are always signing on their favorite singers anyway. So chill. |

Simple things amuse simple minds! I feel sorry for those that have no life and find this kind of stuff so fulfilling. It is a shame because there are so few things that parents can watch with young kids. Why do some people think they have the right to destroy something that someone else enjoys. The number of people watching this show is tremendous. This is also so cruel to do the child Sanjai. Doesn't this sound similar to terroism??? Hey you loosers..swallow that! |

So what happened to Ruben?? He won then vanished and all we saw was Clay. It amazes me how upset people get when you shed a little light on their fantasy. I always found it odd that they took the wide shot of thousands in line and somehow managed to go through all of them in 2 days. Much like Santa Claus delivering toys to everyone in one night. Even in fantasy land, it wouldn't happen. It's not about the singing. It's about ratings. Pure and simple. If they had thousands of Whitney Houston clones try out and nobody watched the show... it wouldn't be on. So as much as it hurts, try to put down the "it's about the singing" security blanket. The Whiteny clone with a boring story will get pushed aside for the horrible singer that will make better ratings. Sanjaya making it this far isn't all because of this site. Last week he had a little girl crying in the audience.... does she work for this site? Every 10 yr old girl out there probably thinks he's cute and votes. Again... not because of the singing. It's a popularity contest done with smoke and mirrors to make it seem like it's all real. The promise of dreams is always alluring. Many of you buy it, close your eyes tight and are die hard loyal fans. I admire your blind conviction. Which reminds me.... I have some ocean front property in Arizona I'd like to sell you. |

How do any of you know how idol is ran behind the scenes? I am assuming none of you have been on idol and thats why you are so bitter about the show. I am sure that those of you who made this website and those of you who are following it (with the whole voting for the worst) are good at something out there...no need to hate those in the world who are gonna make alot of money because they are on tv and know and are following what they are good at. you all suck...idol is a good show and it is a good oppurtunity for those people who are really great singers to get noticed for their talent! You should all be ashamed at how immature this is!!! |

And, is it really true that you are going to keep on with the voting for Sanjaya until the final 2 then suddenly stop so that he'll only get, like, 10 votes?? This is my first posting. At first I just checked out this site because I thought it sounded really funny (which it is), but I'm really appalled by all the pro-AI/anti-Sanjaya posters, who are much, MUCH more cruel, hateful, RACIST and practically VIOLENT than anything "officially" posted by this website. Plus, geez, learn to spell, people. If you can't manage to spell "stupid," you really have much bigger things to worry about than who wins some ridiculous TV talent show. Anyway, I'm voting Sanjaya all the way now! |

I think this site is hilarious. I hate American Idol and everything about it. Those other lame a** shows need to go, too, like Dancing with the Stars, blah blah blah. I have never voted for American Idol (best or worst) but I might just have to start voting for this Sanjaya guy. To be perfectly honest, I may have watched a total of one of of the show all together. I did like that Peter Hung guy from a few years back! Keep up the great work, keep free speech flowing, and keep laughing at the mockery you are making of this show! PS: My husband's ex wife "claims" to have auditioned and made it to see Simon, et al. I would love it if she did and was on this site because she sucks! |
